Ukraine Under Fire: 17 Russian Drones and Missiles Launched in May

Drone attacks in Ukraine leave 6 people injured

On the night of May 4, a total of 17 Russian drones and missiles were launched over Ukraine, according to Mykola Oleshchuk, commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. All 13 drones were shot down by air defense forces, but two people in Pavlograd region suffered injuries as a result of the attack.

In Kharkiv, four people were injured in the attack, including a child born in 2010 and a woman. Two other women received treatment on-site. A falling debris from one of the crashed drones caught fire and damaged several buildings including a two-story office building, a warehouse, tire repair building and trees.

The incident highlights the ongoing conflict and violence in Ukraine. Despite the destruction and injuries caused by these attacks, Ukrainian authorities continue to address the situation and provide assistance to those affected.
