They are joined by World Athletics President Sebastian Coe and CEO Jon Ridgeon as they discuss the upcoming weekend of competition.

In this episode, Coe and Ridgeon teamed up with Richards-Ross and Sotherton to give their predictions for the men’s and women’s 4x100m and 4x400m relays, as well as the mixed relay event. Ridgeon and Sotherton made a bold prediction by suggesting that India could secure a podium place in the men’s 4x400m, noting India’s rise as a powerhouse in athletics.

The highlight of the podcast discussion was Ridgeon’s announcement of a plan to test the viability of a mixed 4x100m relay event. He expressed his belief that mixed athletics could be the future of the sport and shared that they are exploring different variations of the idea.
