World Scout Jamboree Fiasco Exposes Governments’ Accountability, Efficiency Issues: Independent Report Blasts South Korea

The South Korean government has been accused of being responsible for the disastrous World Scout Jamboree last year, which led to the evacuation of tens of thousands of participants due to problems with food and medical facilities. The Jamboree is described as the world’s largest youth camp, gathering young scouts from around the world every four years. The UK contingent withdrew over 4,500 child scouts due to these problems, prompting other countries to follow suit.
