Greenfield Cooperative Bank’s senior leadership team recently traded their suits for paint brushes to help put finishing touches on a new home being built in Northampton by the Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity. The team, led by President and CEO Tony Worden and Executive Vice President Jane Wolfe, volunteered at the construction site on April 26th from 10 a.m. to noon.
Their efforts focused on painting the interior walls of the home as part of their dedication to supporting Habitat for Humanity’s mission of creating affordable homeownership opportunities. Greenfield Cooperative Bank has previously committed $10,000 towards the project and is committed to giving back to the communities they serve.
Worden expressed his excitement about the opportunity to give back and support a worthy cause, while Wolfe emphasized how rewarding it was for the team to be able to use their skills and resources to make a positive impact in their community. The volunteer experience allowed them to work alongside other volunteers and Habitat for Humanity staff members, further strengthening their commitment to this important cause.
