Collaboration between AI in Croatia and Slovenia can enhance competitiveness for companies

In Croatia and Slovenia, there is a wealth of knowledge, innovative individuals, and companies that are utilizing new technologies and artificial intelligence (AI). Collaboration between the two countries has the potential to enhance the competitiveness of businesses, as highlighted during a conference hosted by Infobip. The event, focusing on the application of AI in business, was organized by Infobip, the Slovenian-Croatian business club SLO CRO, and the Slovenian embassy in Zagreb. The goal was to facilitate knowledge and experience sharing to help companies leverage AI more effectively.

According to Aleksandar Raić from Infobip, working together on AI solutions can position Croatia and Slovenia as a hub for AI in the region. One such solution is AI assistants or bots that emulate human-like interactions and provide 24/7 support. These solutions aim to streamline processes and free up time for creativity. The application of AI is currently prominent in customer service functions such as call centers. Additionally, Infobip has implemented knowledge management for AI to assist employees in resolving queries and overcoming challenges related to AI implementation.

Saša Muminović, the President of the SLO CRO club, emphasized that AI is now a topic that nearly everyone in the business world is exploring. She highlighted how businesses are increasingly using chatbots to improve customer engagement and reduce costs. Meanwhile Gašpar Dovžan, the Slovenian ambassador in Zagreb, stressed the importance of knowledge transfer and collaboration between Croatia and Slovenia in AI development. He also emphasized how important it is for both countries to focus on responsible use of technology while adopting new tools.
