Grocer to Carry Sauce Created by Virginia Tech Graduate

Food Lion, one of the largest retailers in the region, has agreed to carry Lewis’s product, marking a significant milestone for his entrepreneurship journey.

AmRhein’s Wine Cellars in Bent Mountain has announced that its tasting room will open on April 6th, while Villa Appalaccia Winery in Patrick County recently opened its tasting room on March 15th and exceeded expectations. Co-owner Julie Block noted that they set records and were overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of their guests.

Despite these positive developments, not all businesses are thriving. Stanburn Winery in Stuart revealed on social media that they will be closing after the upcoming season. However, this does not deter local entrepreneurs and businesses from continuing to innovate and grow.
