The night was supposed to be a fun and carefree evening at Pyrates Sports Bar in Spring Lake, Cumberland County. However, tragedy struck when a man was fatally stabbed at the bar, leading to a homicide investigation by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
At 12:11 a.m., deputies arrived on the scene of the incident, which occurred at 651 W. Manchester Road. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim who had been stabbed and rushed him to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment. Despite their best efforts, the man succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
Authorities are now working diligently to determine what led to the stabbing and what charges may be filed against the offender. The identity of the offender has been revealed and they are currently cooperating with investigators as they piece together what happened that fateful night.
